Cashmere

I can’t say it enough darlings, mixing high and low pieces is the key to a killer wardrobe. Investing in quality classic pieces and mixing them with more wallet friendly trendy items makes for outfits that are both fashionable and budget friendly. Cashmere is one area that is worth investing in. A cashmere sweater is always chic but  it’s also comfy and cozy for the cold winter months. A good tip for buying cashmere and not breaking the bank is to snap up sweaters at the end of the season when stores start clearing out winter merchandise. Now is the perfect time to make your cashmere wish list so that come the end of the season, you can try and scoop up some of your wish-listed pieces.

You’d be proud of me, I’ve actually minimized my yoga pant wearing in class and at least am squeezing myself into a pair of jeans…and of course the business dress at my clinical placement…yoga pants are now only on weekends =)

High low is definitely the key to a great wardrobe. Could not agree with you more. Always invest in shoes and bags, with good quality there people will assume the rest of your outfit is designer too!

You’re so right, bags and shoes are a great area to make investments when it comes to your closet. A good bag will last ages if you take care of it. I have one of my grandmothers bags that’s over 20yrs old and it still looks brand new!

That skirt is darling on you! I agree, high/low is the way to go and cashmere is a good place to buy quality. The cheap stuff always pills and looks, well, cheap!

You’re so right Lissy, cheap cashmere ends up looking so cheap. I feel like I was channeling a little bit of you with this look, a great print paired with a ladylike skirt.
