Baking In Heels

I’ll be honest, before I moved in with Darling Husband I never cooked. Ever. I made reservations. My stove was extra shoe storage and my fridge held face cream, champagne, and brie. And that was after a trip to the grocery store. However, since moving in together I’ve started to cook and even…wait for it darlings!  Bake. I’ve yet to give Darling Husband or myself food poisoning, so I consider this foray in to formally foreign territory a great success. When I was invited to attend eFashionistas latest event that was to be centered around baking, cocktails, and high heels, I jumped at the chance to improve my newly honed skills. Well that and the promise of gorgeous designer clothing and accessories thanks to the venue, PRFKT Boutique. Tania Semper, the creative mind and luxury loving lady after my heart behind eFashionistas, executed another one of her signature luxe events. With an appearance from the Sugar Stars and high-heel expert Tina Karr, the night was full of tasty cocktails, yummy treats, and fashionable ladies. For those who entered the contest to attend and didn’t win, thank you so much for participating and I can’t wait to share even more goodies with you in the future! Hope you had a lovely weekend darlings!

It really was such a lovely time. I’m a big fan of the Balthazar cookbook and anything from Ina Garten, not always the easiest recipes but always so delicious!
