Bath and Bedtime Routine with Aveeno Baby

For as long as I can remember, my mother has always stressed the importance of taking care of my skin properly. From finding the right products for my specific needs to routine care, I always try to do what’s best for protecting and preserving my skin. Now that I’m a mother, this is something that I’m already passing on to my own daughter. As with all babies, her skin is quite delicate and needs a little extra love and care. Because of this, I try to find products and lines that are clean and gentle. I particularly love the Aveeno Baby line for these very reasons. Formulated with baby’s delicate skin in mind, the products that makeup the Aveeno Baby line are perfect for everyday skin and hair care. From shampoo and daily care wash to lotion, moisturizing cream, and sunscreen, there’s so many great products to help take care of your little one. There’s even a dedicated Eczema collection that’s free of steroids, fragrances, and dyes and is approved by the Eczema Society of Canada.

My favorite products to use are the Calming Comfort Lotion and Calming Comfort Bath. With their subtle Lavender & Vanilla scent, they’re perfect for calming and relaxing madam before bedtime. Since bringing her home from hospital, bath time has always been a relaxing time for our little family. Even with Darling Husband’s insane work schedule, we always try our best to both be present for her bath and bedtime routine.  She loves a warm bath with the Calming Comfort Bath, especially now that she can sit upright and play with her rubber ducky. To keep her skin from getting dry during the cold winter months, we make sure to give her a nice massage with the Calming Comfort Lotion before getting her in to her pyjamas. Afterwards, we all cuddle up together for a book or two before she falls asleep for the night. This simple little routine works great for her, resulting in a good night sleep for everyone one in our household.
