Black and Orange

Why yes darlings, my cardigan is on backward. I’ve seen a few other style bloggers try out this look and I thought I’d give it a try myself. I have to say, I really like the effect of the plunging back and the high neck that is achieved by turning the cardigan around. It’s a very alluring silhouette. As for the pants, how can you not love shiny leggings that look right out of the final scene of Grease? As much as I like this look, the first words out of Darling Fiance’s mouth when I first walked out of my closet were “Why is your sweater on backward?” He then proceeded to give me a few funny looks before we left the house and insisted we shoot these photos away from the general public. Silly boy. One of the best parts of evolving your personal style is taking risks. Never be too scared of what others might think when there’s something you want to experiment with. What are some of your favorite fashion risks darlings?

Cardigan: Tory Burch

Leggings: American Apparel

Shoes: Topshop

Bracelets: Forever 21, H&M, Ardene
