Christmas Day

Merry, Merry Darlings! For those who celebrated, I hope you had a wonderful day with your friends and family. My parents and Darling Finace’s parents came into town so we had a nice big blended Christmas with lots of food and fun. And then some more food. And then for good measure, some more food. For Christmas day, I decided to do a fashionable take of the traditional, and often tacky, Christmas sweater. Instead of reindeer and snowflakes, I opted for this gorgeous vintage Pierre Cardin sweater that I wore as a dress. Paired with my vintage muff and headpiece, I channeled my inner Russian oligarch.

Sweater Dress: Vintage Pierre Cardin

Tights: Betsey Johnson

Boots: Rock&Repubic

Headpiece: DuBarry

Muff: Vintage

Bracelets: Forever 21

You don’t know how much this just made my day! Darling Fiance recently learned about my childhood love for those Barbies and he’s totally confused by it!

I agree with Lani – only you could make this look stylish – I admire you with your skirt and high heels in the snow on Christmas day, oh but the photos are fabulous. One of my favourite Christmas posts on the blogs that I read, Jess 🙂

Thank you so much Sarah! It honestly was shockingly warm, although I think that opinion comes from having acclimated a bit to the frigid Canadian cold.
