Ferrying in Style

For traveling back from our wonderful vacation in Greenport, I opted to take advantage of the ferry ride between Long Island and Connecticut for a not so impromptu photo-shoot. With a 6 hour plus ride ahead of us back to Montreal, the hour and a half ferry ride is a truly pleasant way to start off the trip home. Since we opted to sit on the deck enjoying the sun and sea air, I donned a large hat to protect my skin from turning the same shade of red as the lobster that I enjoyed the night before. Sun safety is something I hold rather high and I recommend protecting your skin as well darlings. It’s better to slather on a solid SPF now so as not to look like a worn out leather purse later in life, not to mention it’s imperative to protect yourself from possible skin cancers. As for everyday skin care, I recommend a moisturizer with SPF in it to protect yourself even on cloudy days. A large hat and oversized sunglasses are fashionable options for protecting your skin on a sunny day and are a great way to turn around even the most basic of outfits. What are your favorite beauty tips for keeping your skin in top condition?
