Jouer Cosmetics

A few weeks ago, a sweet little pink box landed on my doorstep after traveling all the way from sunny Los Angeles.  Packed with gorgeous goodies from the lovely team at Jouer, I couldn’t get over how thoughtful they were to pick the most perfect colors for my complexion. The soft and classic hues that make up the line are totally reminiscent of the pallets of great Impressionist painters like Degas and Monet. With names like “feather”, “organza”, and “amalie” the colors (and their names!) are right up this girly-girl’s alley. The creme shadows are totally idiot proof when it comes to application, and by idiot proof I mean this one trick makeup pony was able to create soft and feminine looks enhanced by the vibrant lipsticks and glosses that were part of the package with total ease. As for the Luminizing Moisture Tint, it’s no wonder that it’s a Best of Beauty Winner according to Allure Magazine. Mixed with a bit of Matte Moisture Tint, it gives your skin a subtle glow and just the right amount of correction and coverage. I love how all of these products are so gentle on the skin… I’m a bit of a nut when it comes to making sure that the products I use and Jouer totally fits my nutty criteria. Another aspect I love about the line is actually the packaging, you’re actually able to customize your own palette by clipping together the assorted compacts thanks to their construction. Make sure to scroll down to the final picture to see just how this works! It’s no wonder that Jouer has become a fashion and beauty industry favorite, from a loyal following of celebrity makeup artists and regular woman like myself, to all the top beauty and fashion magazines Jouer is becoming a staple in the beauty and fashion world.
