Gobble Gobble my darlings! Happy Thanksgiving to all my American readers, I hope you’re all having a delightful day of family fun and face stuffing! I’m here in Philly for a nice long weekend with the family and Darling Fiance. There will be lots of relaxing and yummy meals to be had. I’ll also be taking one very excited Darling Fiance to do our Stateside wedding registry. I bet you all can just imagine how excited he is to spend another afternoon zapping away at pretty things that for the most part, he could care less about. These photos are from this past weekend when we went out to Laval for Sunday dinner. I love throwing a turtleneck on under my sleeveless dresses to make them cold weather appropriate. A black turtleneck in one of my top wardrobe basics. They’re great for layering, and super easy to dress up or down. What are some of your favorite wardrobe basics?

Turtleneck: American Apparel

Dress: Babooshka

Shoes: Miss Me!

Bag: Foley + Corinna

This outfit is perfect for you. I do not know how you can twirl so easily in those Miss Me heels though 🙂

My wardrobe staples are shapewear (the very best for great curves and lines) a classic white shirt/blouse and denim flares.

I chalk the twirling ability up to countless years of ballet under the instruction of some intense Russian teachers. They might have been scary at times, but they were great at getting results!

Couldn’t agree more with you on your wardrobe staples, I’m still on the hunt for the perfect white blouse though.
