Mulcair: Day 2

One area that I feel is lacking in my wardrobe is a cohesive selection of separates. I’ve always been more of a dress girl, even insisting “dresses mummy, dresses!” as a child. It took major negotiations on my parents’ part to get me into a pair of pants. Whenever I end up buying seperates, I never really take in to consideration how my recent purchase will fit with my already existing wardrobe. One of the many aspects I love about the current Mulcair collection is how cohesive it is. Juliana created a beautiful array of pieces that, while some might be intended to be paired together, seem to pair so effortlessly together. Much like the sheer dress, this sheer top is cut in a classic shilloutte and just like the dress, the material and trim make it modern and fresh. As for the pencil skirt, total perfection. The gold button detailing and the two front vents add a whole other dimension to this wardrobe staple. This seems to be a hallmark of Juliana’s design aesthetic. She creates perfectly tailored pieces that are classic and contemporary all at the same time.

Absolutely love that skirt! I can totally see how it’d work with other pieces so easily, yet it’s such a great statement piece. Lovely as always 🙂

The skirt is very military-chic pretty, but I’m still loving the sheer pieces – now I want the top (can’t separate it from the dress, you know!)
