Neon Pink

June 27, 2012

I’m not going to lie darlings, I feel a bit like 80’s Barbie in this outfit. Well minus, the massively disproportionate curves. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect little denim jacket for a while and lucky for me,  Necessary Clothing sent over this perfect option. Pairing this neon pink jacket with a classic Herve Ledger little black dress proved to be a wonderful way to update this classic dress. The Halston heels are one of my favorite pairs of shoes, these vintage beauties are from the heyday of Halston’s career when nights were spent at Studio 54 dancing away with the likes of Bianca Jagger and Liza Minnelli. They were my grandmothers and she passed them on to me after spending my afternoons playing dress up with them as a little girl.

Jacket: c/o Necessary Clothing

Dress: Herve Leger

Heels: Vintage Halston

Necklace: Vintage

Cuff: Kenneth Jay Lane

I enjoy long walks through Neiman Marcus, red soled shoes, skinny black pants, oversized cocktail rings, obnoxious bows, nipped waists and full skirts.
