Inspired by the neon explosion that was this month’s awesome issue of LOULOU Magazine, I decided to welcome spring with a neon top that I’ve had languishing in the recesses of my closet. I finally pulled the tags off it and paired it with a pair of simple black pants to really let the top pop. Neon is one of those trends that’s still lurking about and I think it’s a great way to bring in Spring. It’s best not to go to overboard with Neon, but an accent piece or a few well placed accessories takes this trend from the runway to everyday.  As for the black pants, I think most of us have horror stories about finding a great pair of simple black pants, I know I have. That was until I came across this pair by Alice+Oliva. They’re a left over from my very brief sting in Corporate America but they’ve become one of my closet staples that I can’t image living without.

Top: Naven

Pants: Alice+Olivia

Heels: Manolo Blahnik

Tank: Spanx

Bracelet (worn as cuff): Forever 21

Okay I am so loving that colour on you! Not everyone can pull it off but it looks amazing with your colouring. Also love the cuff, I really want one I can wear around there!
