Olive Green and Hermes

Olive green is hands-down one of my favorite colours. I find that it actually looks amazing on most people. These jeans have been languishing in my closet for months and finally saw the light of day this past weekend. They edge right up against the mom jean category but the skinny legs keep them from totally falling into it. As for this utility vest, I still can’t get over how often I use it. It’s one of those perfect layering pieces that seem to work with almost everything that I pair it with. Old Navy scored some maaajor points with me when they put this vest out. The jewelry I’m wearing on my right hand all have a wonderful meaning to me. The bracelet and large cocktail ring belonged to my grandmother and the thin gold band that I’ve been finding myself wearing was actually my great-grandmother’s wedding band. I love that on the inside, her 1917 wedding date is engraved.

Vest: Old Navy

Turtleneck: American Apparel

Jeans: Alexander McQueen

Belt: Hermes

Boots: Miss Me!

  2. loving the Olive too! It used to be overflowing in my closet but nothing for the last few years. I finally picked up a great sheer top last year which I completely forgot about until a few weeks ago, now I can’t get enough of it 🙂

    1. It really does add a glamourous touch to the most basic look. It’s a great investment, or so I’ve convinced myself since the belt itself is two sided. I like to think I got two Hermes belts for the price of one!
