Red White and Blue

I don’t remember the last time I walked into a J Crew before this past week in Philadelphia. It’s totally absent from my closet but thanks to this super cute gingham shirt (plus another one in pink) that has now been remedied. I have to say, I was totally impressed by the selection that I came across during my quick trip to J Crew. There were pretty pastels, punchy neons, and of course preppy classic staples to be found at relatively reasonable prices. I’ve been on the hunt for a shirt life this, perfect for layering during the winter or wearing on its own like with this look. This J Crew option is well made, cut perfectly, and much better priced then the options that I was finding at Neiman Marcus and through Net-A-Porter.

I love this very cute style on you, especially with the hair band. I have a shirt from GAP, it’s very plain, but similar in style and I like to tie it at the front. It feels such a playful look 🙂
