Runway Report: CHANEL Métiers d’Art Paris-Hamburg Beauty Look
To round off my trio of articles recapping the incredible CHANEL Métiers d’Art Paris-Hamburg collection, I present to you the stunning beauty look that the models donned for the presentation at Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie. As with all CHANEL presentations, the beauty look shown was a perfect complement to the collection. While beautiful on its own, it nevertheless paired perfectly with the full look and feel of the collection without distracting from the pieces shown on the runway. The smoky blue eye was a sublime nod to the nautical theme that added a sultry femininity to the menswear inspired looks. This bold yet elegant eye look was stunning on the multiple skin complexions of the models who walked for Monsieur Lagerfeld that day. Paired with luminous skin, and a soft natural lip, this is a look that can easily taken straight off the runway and replicated at home with ease thanks to CHANEL Global Creative Makeup and Colour Designer Lucia Pica’s creations for this famed fashion house. Hair and nails were kept rather demure to avoid competing with the rest, with an occasional tendril escaping from the chic centre-parted hair styles that replicate the heavy ropes found on ships so effortlessly.
