Runway Report: Judith & Charles Spring/Summer 2016
It might be barely officially Winter but the fashion world is looking towards Spring/Summer with collections already being previewed. I recently got a sneak peek of the upcoming Judith & Charles Spring/Summer 2016 collection and thanks to the gorgeous pieces I saw, I can’t wait for the first deliveries to start hitting stores in the new year.
Know for expert tailoring and fine European fabrics, the brand also produces the majority of their collections within Canada which surely accounts for the outstanding level of quality that they continue to produce season after season. Judith & Charles has also continued their mission to make women look and feel beautiful through their pieces with this latest collection. With a subtle yet whimsical nod to the mid-century Mod style, the pieces are both elegant and functional. Ideal for the professional woman, one can easily transition from the boardroom to dinner and drinks. Not simply for the professional sphere many, if not all, of the pieces wear beautifully for almost any occasion. Standout pieces include a sophisticated long vest in a creamy and totally subtle pastel pink and a smart little skirt and vest suit that is reminiscent of the house of Courréges, one of the founding mod designers.
