Runway Report: Pretty Ballerinas Spring/Summer 2018

One of my favourite press events each season is when I have the chance to preview the upcoming season from Pretty Ballerinas. Not only do I get a sneak peek at the coming season’s styles, I also get a head start on my shoe shopping wish list. Before leaving, I’m typically asking one of the lovely and totally fabulous women who work in the Westmount boutique to call me when a particular style – or who am I kidding, styles – come into the store.

This Spring/Summer 2018 preview went as expected. I fell in love with everything and walked out knowing I would be picking up a few styles as soon as they hit the store. With oversized bows, feminine yet fun detailing, oversized gems and pearls, floral and animal print, nautical motifs, and even darling options for little ones, the collection is full of gorgeous selections for just about anyone’s taste and style preferences. The collection has already started to trickle into stores with the capsule collection curated by Olivia Palermo (find out all about this perfect pairing here) – one style of which is already in my wardrobe. While I’ve only shared a few photos here, I can assure you that the rest of the collection is equally stunning. I know I write about the brand a fair amount, but it’s because I truly love Pretty Ballerinas. It’s a brand that I am proud to partner with and also support, having been a dedicated client for quite a few years now. The shoes are not only stunning, but they’re made impeccably. Shoes that I purchased almost 8 years ago are still in wonderful condition thanks to their superior material and construction. If you haven’t yet treated yourself to a pair of these gorgeous shoes, the Spring/Summer 2018 collection is the perfect introduction to this incredible brand. Happy shopping darlings!
