Sunday in Montreal is always lazy. Maybe brunch with friends but more often then not, Darling Boyfriend and I head out to Laval to visit with his large Greek family (insert My Big Fat Greek Wedding jokes all you want). This means piles of tupperware filled with delicious homemade Greek food from the Grandma’s kitchens, this being quite a treat since my forays into the kitchen have only started as of lately. Prior to moving to Montreal I never really ventured into the kitchen. In my previous apartments the stove was simply a place to store flip-flops and the fridge usually only held champagne and some cheese. Since starting to use my kitchen as more than just additional storage I’ve made quite a few successful meals, and by successful I mean I haven’t given Darling Boyfriend and myself food poisoning.
